Biography:

Eddie Brock, a significant character in the Modern Age of Marvel Comics, is intrinsically linked to the Anti-Venom symbiote.

Following the loss of the Venom symbiote, Brock develops cancer. While working at a soup kitchen, he is exposed to residual traces of the Venom symbiote that remain in his body.

These traces, combined with Brock's white blood cells, fuse into a new, unique symbiote. This new entity is the Anti-Venom symbiote, first appearing in *The Amazing Spider-Man* #569 (October 2008).

Unlike Venom, Anti-Venom possesses healing properties, including the ability to cure diseases and remove other symbiotes. However, it also disrupts Spider-Man's powers. Brock, as Anti-Venom, initially seeks to use his abilities to 'cure' those he deems corrupted, often leading to conflict with Spider-Man and other superpowered individuals.
